Tuesday Takeaways: NFL Week 8 Power Rankings

We have played 8 weeks of football, meaning it is time for another power rankings post! Every four weeks we update our power rankings for each skill position for the season. The power rankings take into account both a players profile from previous season as well as heavily considering their on field production for this current season. Players must have played at least 6 games to be included in the list. This week's post also will include my personal rankings for each major award! March Madness Preview!

 It's the best time of the year! We are hours removed from Selection Sunday and now have had some time to sit and think about the bracket and what some of the things that the committee revealed they valued are. In this post I am going to do a breakdown of each region and some of my initial thoughts and predictions about the bracket. SOUTH REGION OVERALL THOUGHTS The path to the Final Four seems to be relatively easy for the top two seeds, Auburn and Michigan State. I do not see many teams being a true threat to either of those teams right now. Some people worry about Auburn dropping 3 of their last 4, but those are all losses to other Sweet 16 type teams and it is never a good idea to bet against Izzo in March. The college basketball season has sadly come to an end. That means we are officially moving towards the NBA playoffs and offseason. While there is much to change with the transfer portal and whatever happens in the NBA postseason, it is still a fun exercise to think about what prospects can help NBA teams and look at who helped their stock the most in March.
