NCAAM Conference Superlatives
The madness is almost here! With conference championships already starting up, it feels like the perfect time to give out my personal awards for All-Conference teams! We did this for every major conference and ONLY conference play was taken into account for these awards. Team success and games played were also taken into account, meaning stars like UNC's Caleb Wilson, TTU's J.T. Toppin or BYU's Richie Saunders were not selected, despite them obviously being amongst the best in their conference. Some conferences like to put 10+ players into their all-conference team, but that is bogus! We challenged ourselves to give just two teams per conference, giving our opinions on the most impactful players! Obviously there is more that goes into impact than just stats, but we will include each players Points/Rebounds/Assists and their shooting splits by FG%/3PT%/FT%.
